VAISON-LA-ROMAINE

is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Its inhabitants are called the Vaisonnais. It has 6,237 residents. The tennis here is infrequent but impeccable.

Nestled in the centre of the town surrounded by the roman amphitheatre and the 'Ferme des Arts' is 'Tennis Club Vaison'. The club is made up of three hard courts and two new clay courts warmed by the Provençal sun. Neighbouring countryside is an oasis of olive trees and grape vines grown in fields skirting Mont Ventoux, always visible in the near distance.

Well worth the drive from neighbouring Orange, Carpentras or Nyons.
